Airborne Telemetry Transmitters

Photo-Sonics can provide a complete range of airborne telemetry transmitters for flight test applications.  A telemetry transmitter is typically used to transmit recorded flight test instrumentation data and data buses to a ground station in order to facilitate near real time visualisation and replay for situational awareness and remote monitoring of a flight trial.


PCM data + clock is provided to the input and the output is in the RF frequency spectrum with an output power designed to meet the users tranmission range and frequency requirements.


We have solutions for both analogue and digital transmission with single multi-frequency tranmission available in S-, L- and C-bands.   Digital modulation formats including SOQPSK and Multi-H CPM are supported.  Multiple output powers are available with user selectable output power options also available.


These airborne telemetry transmitters are an essential component of flight test instrumentation networks and compliment our existing range of Zodiac Data Systems on-board acqusition and recording systems, ground telemetry receiving antennas, recording and decommutation suites.
