Introduction:

IRIG Time Code Generators

A series of GPS synchronised time code generators designed to provide precise IRIG serial time code and / or PTP output. Miniaturized, hand-held, ruggedized, shelf mount and rackmount are available.

 

 

6155D Handheld Generator

The Model 6155E is a battery powered, hand-held unit which provides an IRIG B timecode output synchronised with UTC time, derived from GPS, and a serial data output which includes UTC Time, Latitude and Longitude.

The 6155E is housed in an aluminum enclosure, 8 inches long, 3.8 inches wide and 2.55 inches high, which includes rechargeable batteries and an attached, active antenna.

 

6115G-3E Janus Time Code Generator with PTP Master Clock

This member of our Janus family of PTP - IEEE1588 Time Code products is a PTP/IEEE1588 Master Clock on your network. The Janus TCG is also a PTP bridge to IRIG B by delivering 6 channels of IRIG B programmable to B127 (AM) or B007 (DCLS) all synchronized to our internal GPS receiver or syncrhonized to an external PTP master on your network. This is a versatile syncrhonized time code product with accuracy as tight as 30 nanoseconds.

Model 6189 Series IRIG B12x Distribution Amplifier

This family of IRIG B12x distribution amplifiers provide individually buffered IRIG B time code sourced form a single IRIG B input. Using one of our Time Code Generators as a source, the devices will help you support a large array of devices distributed over a wide geography.

8, 16, and 24 channel versions are available in 1U rack mountable, 9" deep Aluminium enclosures.

6115G-3 Series of GPS Synchronised IRIG B Time Code Generator

The Model 6115G-3 series are twelve channel GPS synchronised IRIG B time code generator designed to provide a precise IRIG B serial time code output as well as a 1PPS time pulse.

The unit automatically acquires all in-view satellites upon power up and locks an internal IRIG B time code generator to the GPS time reference. If the GPS lock is lost the 6115G-3 will automatically switch to an internal clock and continue generating the output IRIG B signal.

The unit has five buffered IRIG B outputs as well as status and synchronised clock signal outputs.

Available in three variants; 28 VDC shelf mount (6115G-3), 100 to 240 VAC rackmount (6115G-3R), and 100 to 240 VAC rackmount with NMEA serial output (6115G-3RN).

6115G-8 Series of Miniature GPS Synchronised IRIG B Time Code Generator

The Model 6115G-8 GPS Synchronised Miniature Time Code Generator provides an IRIG B time code output derived from GPS. The time code output is synchronised with UTC time unless a time offset has been programmed. A twelve channel GPS receiver automatically acquires all in-view satellites upon power up and locks an internal IRIG B time code generator to the GPS time reference. If the GPS lock is lost the 6115G-8 will automatically switch to an internal clock and continue generating the output IRIG B signal.

All controls, connectors and indicators are on the front panel.

Available in the following variants; with an antenna disable relay (6115G-8AD), Mil Qualified (6115G-8S), Mil Qualified TCG w/NEMA GGA output (6115G-8S-N), Mil Qualified IRIG B TCG (6115G-8SA), and Mil Qualified TCG w/NEMA GGA (6115G-8SA-N).

Model 400-D GPS Synchronised IRIG B DCLS (TTL) Time Code Generator

The Model 400-D is a GPS synchronised IRIG B time code generator designed to provide six precise IRIG B002 serial time code output (unmodulated DC Level Shift (DCLS)) as well as a 1PPS time pulse to within 30 NS.

Each output can drive up to 152 metres of twisted par cable and are short circuit protected. The six BNC terminals, and other connections are at the rear of a 19" 1U rackmountable enclosure.

The Model 420-D is a GPS synchronised IRIG B time code generator designed to provide twenty precise IRIG B002 serial time code outputs (unmodulated DC Level Shift (DCLS)) as well as a 1PPS time pulse to within 30 NS.

Each of the twenty, fully buffered outputs can drive up to 152 metres of twisted par cable and are short circuit protected. The fourty screw terminal connections are at the rear of a 19" 2U rack mountable enclosure.

 

Model 490-D20 IRIG Distribution Amplifier

Model 490-D20 IRIG B DCLS (TTL) Distribution Amplifier

The Model 490-D20 Distribution Amplifier provides for the distribution of an unmodulated DC Level Shift (DCLS) IRIG B time code signal to up to twenty individual loads. It is intended to work in conjunction with the ITS 400-D IRIG B time code generator.

Each of the twenty, individually buffered outputs can drive loads up to 50 ohms and can drive up to five individual devices. The fourty screw terminal connections are at the rear of a 19" 2U rack mountable enclosure.
