Heim DATaRec-4 systems are designed for applications where accuracy, signal to noise ratio and bandwidth are critical.

All modules include 24bit A-D processors and we record a 32 bit file format ensuring you retain all of your data. In addition we can offer a full stand alone solution incorporating either a solid state storage module or users can record directly to a memory stick, or to a PC!

A typical DATaREC-4 system has USB, Firewire, and Ethernet interfaces and users can choose whichever they wish to use.

Scaleable

Built to a fully modular design users can simply add and remove modules for each project requirement. With the ability to acquire up to 1536 simultaneous channels of data from a mixture of devices such as CAN BUS, ANALOGUE SIGNAL, ICP SENSORS, STRAIN GAUGES, PCM, VIDEO, GPS, RS232/422/485.

With a typical module no larger than a VHS cassette each module is very compact, and up to 24channels of analogue or ICP data. 

Flexible,

Modules can be used in any combination or as a stand alone recording unit, via the USB port on the front. In addition the modules can be setup with up to 500m between each module while still keeping each channel synchronised to the other modules.

In a typical application the DATaREC-4 unit would be setup with the acquisition modules distributed to remain close to the sensors reducing wiring costs and ensuring that noise pickup through cabling is eliminated.

Cost Effective,

Because the DATaREC-4 is so flexible users only need to purchase the modules that they wish to use, you do not need to have a “mainframe” and all the associated hardware and expense.  There are a number of software platforms available for the systems from the included internal recording system on a link module to partners offering full real time signal processing and analysis solutions such as M&H and Soundtech. We will guide you as to which solution is the most appropriate for your application.
